"They say" that the road of life is not always smooth and that there will be bumps in the road. Well, I'm a professional at taking my bumps and turning them into hurdles. Inside of our past and childhood lie the answers to why we've made the decisions we have in our life.

It wasn't until I became a young widow at 39 and seeing my therapist that I learned my label.  I told my therapist that I had a perfect childhood, he assured me that there is no such thing as a perfect childhood.  

I am an adult child!  I thought my therapist was nuts when he told me this.  Of course it took a lot of conversing to rehash my past and come to this determination. Looking back at my life I can see it as clear as day. He was spot on!

Learning these facts helped me to move forward on my journey without my late husband and business partner. 

There is so much to take away from my story in this book. Yes! I certainly did overcome mediocrity my entire life I had to fall and get up and keep carrying that torch, as I had to decide to keep working our 31 year old business we put our blood, sweat, and tears into.
